- The department of Civil Engg. was established in 1984, runs a Under-Graduate and two post graduate programmes namely M. Tech. (Structural Engineering) Full-Time and M. Tech. (Geotechnical Engineering) Part-Time.

- UG program is accredited 4times by NBA, New Delhi. The details are: 21-12-2001 (3 Years) 28-08-2006 (3 Years) 05-08-2013 (2 Years) 24-05-2017 (3 Years)

About Conference

Sustainable development is an urgent demand of the society. The civil engineering domain has significant impacts on the environment. Indeed, it is reported in numerous studies that the civil engineering is responsible for several important problems such as the energy consumption, the CO2 emission and the natural resource depletion. Achieving sustainable development of infrastructure and its management is need of hour. The International Conference on “Recent issues in Civil Engineering and Sustainable Solutions”(RICESS2019) aims to raise the awareness of sustainability in every aspect of Infrastructure Development which mainly focuses on the dissemination of information and technology, sharing of expertise and exchange of views. The main objectives of the conference are to bring awareness of the latest demand and technology for sustainable infrastructure development. The two days international Conference is planned to bring planners, researchers, academicians, practicing engineers, policy-makers, regulators, administrators, investors, legal & IT solution providers, and NGOs on a common platform to share and discuss their experiences, technical advancement, constraints and other significant issues on the sustainable infrastructure development and management. The knowledge sharing and discussions during the conference will be useful in suggesting realistic solutions, recommending a policy framework and opening up new research avenues for the development of better and sustainable infrastructure.
